Smooth Operator: email, calendar and files
Draft and send from your connected mailbox, book time on the org calendar, and search or summarise files.
These tools all run on a connected integration — Google or Microsoft 365. If nothing is connected, the agent will say so rather than guess.
Drafting is free; sending is not. Every send and every calendar invite stops for confirmation, because both reach real people.
How to
- 1
Connect a mailbox and calendar under Integrations → Connected Apps.
- 2
Ask for a draft first, read it, then ask to send.
Drafting and sending are separate tools on purpose.
- 3
Ask for calendar events by window or by text.
"What is on my calendar Thursday?"
- 4
Search files by name or type, then ask for a summary of one.
Files listed as source "drive" store only a link — Smoo has no contents to read.
Ask Smooth Operator
- “Draft a follow-up email to Jane about the platform rebuild”
- “Send that draft”
- “What is on the calendar this week?”
- “Book a 30-minute intro call with Jane on Thursday at 3pm”
- “Search my mail for anything from Acme”
- “Find the PDFs in our files”
- “Summarise the Q3 pricing deck”
- “Create a share link for the proposal that expires in 3 days”
If something goes wrong
- A PDF will not summarise.
- It has not been indexed yet. Ask to ingest it into the knowledge base first, then ask again.
- Attendees got a real invite you did not expect.
- Calendar creation sends genuine invitations to everyone listed. The confirmation step is the last chance to remove people.
