Data Deletion Instructions

Overview

Smoo AI, LLC ("Smoo AI," "we," "us," or "our") lets organizations connect messaging and marketing channels — including Facebook Pages, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, and WhatsApp — to AI agents that handle customer support and outreach. This page explains how to request deletion of the data we hold, including data we obtain through those Meta integrations. It complements Section 10 ("Your Rights") of our Privacy Policy.

What Data This Covers

When you or your organization connect a Meta channel, we may store:

• Your Meta user or page identifiers and the access tokens needed to send and receive messages on your behalf
• Inbound and outbound messages exchanged between end-customers and your AI agents (Messenger, Instagram DM, WhatsApp)
• Lead-ad form submissions and page engagement events routed into your CRM
• Profile details a person makes available when they sign in with Facebook (name, email, and profile picture)

How to Request Deletion

Option 1 — Delete in-app

If you have a Smoo AI account, you can delete your account at any time from your account settings. Deleting your account removes your personal data subject to the retention periods described in Section 7 of the Privacy Policy. You can also disconnect a specific Meta integration from your organization's integration settings, which deletes the stored access tokens for that channel.

Option 2 — Email us

To request deletion of your data — including data obtained through Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp — email [email protected] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request." Please include the email address or Meta profile associated with the data so we can locate it. If you are an end-customer who interacted with a business using Smoo AI, tell us which business (Facebook Page or Instagram account) you contacted so we can route the request to the correct organization.

Option 3 — Facebook data deletion callback

If you used Sign in with Facebook, you can remove Smoo AI from your Facebook settings at Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites, then remove "Smoo AI." Facebook will notify us to delete the data associated with that Facebook login, and we will process the deletion as described below.

What Happens Next

We confirm receipt of every request and complete deletion within 30 days. We delete the personal data we hold for you and instruct our sub-processors to do the same, except where we are required to retain certain records to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. Aggregated or de-identified data that can no longer be linked to you may be retained.
