The CRM tools are the deepest part of Smooth Operator. Reads are instant; anything that writes stops and asks you to confirm first.
Capture is the one worth learning: it creates a company, its people, and a deal, all linked, from one sentence.
How to
- 1
Ask a read question to get your bearings.
"How many contacts do I have?" · "List my newest companies."
- 2
Narrow with a filter in the same sentence.
"Deals in negotiation sorted by value" · "Contacts at Acme".
- 3
Capture an interaction in one go rather than field by field.
- 4
Paste a CSV into the composer to import a list.
You get a preview with detected columns before anything is written. Over 500 rows, use the bulk importer on the Contacts screen.
- 5
Photograph a business card and drop it in.
If it matches an existing contact, the agent shows you the field diff and asks before overwriting.
