Files is general document storage. Knowledge is the subset you want agents to answer from — a file only becomes agent-readable once it is indexed.

    Upload into folders.

    Create a share link when someone outside needs a copy.

    Set an expiry and, for anything sensitive, a password. Links work without signing in — that is the point and the risk.

If something goes wrong

A file cannot be summarised.
Files whose source is a connected drive store only a link and metadata — Smoo has no contents to read. Upload a copy if you need it readable.
